I know there have been many attempts, like Hyperion and Sentry, but Gladiator is the most successful Superman-like character Marvel has ever had, and most people don't even notice the parallel... which makes him that much more awesome!

Really considering like the rest of the Imperial Guard, Cockrum based them on the Legion of Super-Heroes, in this case Mon-El. The thing is his character has been probably the most fleshed out of any of the Guard.

Great job Shen

Thanks Dale. Can you believe they just NOW finally told his origin and how he became Praetor after over 30 years. Crazy.

I've come across some feats from Kallark that are unfreakinbelievable. I may add some of these to the profile.

For example, Gladiator in hot pursuit of Quasar takes a point blank whisper in the ear from Black Bolt and it doesn't even slow Kallark down.

Heck yeah! When Kallark is determined, NOTHING can stop him.

Not sure, just found it online. I'm assuming you mean the Gladiator/Superman pic.

Yeah, I'm sure it was some Marvel/DC crossover, but none that are in my collection, so I'd love to find it.

Could just be fan art too. Or live footage of actual events, because you know Superman sucks. LOL

I enjoyed those Xmen cartoons on FOX. Even bought them on VHS back in day. My wife wants me to get rid of them but I can't do it. I remember this episode especially. They represented Gladiator perfect in this clip. I love Juggernaut but like someone said earlier "owned".

(referring to an original comic book piece) This is a art gallery my friend and THIS is a piece of art.

Elijah Price "Unbreakable"
played by Samuel L. Jackson
