Should I start posting updates of my band in here?
In the meantime, our major influences .....
NIN
Fear Factory
Black Sabbath
Danzig/Misfits
yes .... Metallica, after all I DO currently use a Kirk Hammett Signature guitar in the studio
Rammstein
Megadeth
Korn (new single SUCKS, but always loved Korn)
Testament
Morbid Angel
Slayer
Cradle of Filth
The Faceless (Alien death metal, nice stuff)
Type O Negative
Dethklock
Nile
Led Zepp
Anthrax
.......
so many more.
This year has been really fun creating and molding this band. not sure what we are going to tackle next. We need to write music for Invisible Champion, the lyrics have been there for a bit. After some creative slipping with Fate, the B!tch, I am considering continuing our Broken cover streak with Happiness in Slavery.
Still asking for artwork for a band logo, bonus for a tshirt idea based either just on the band name or one of our songs. To recap that without you having to change forums to see them .....
Chalice of Tainted Blood - death metal song laced with mythological references describing my ex wife and her sister
BioRot - Dark Metal - A nameless being emerges from the soil, only to find a desolate wasteland, being disappointed with what it see, it returns from whence it came.
Fate, the B!tch - Punk metal song sung in the perspective of Fate herself. Basically it tells the listener, its been there all along, but free will is still there, if you use it ........ but you probably wont, so I will ruin things FOR you.
Invisible Champion - Everyone has had to console another for many different reasons, from a dead dog to a lost love ...... this person has been that champion a long time ....... but has no champion of their own.
Lead Guitarist and Vocalist of
Rectifier!a Progressive Metal band born right here in Greenville SC, home of the Egpytian Death Metal band Nile

Watkin Tudor Jones: The Fantastic Kill; Reprogram. Not a big fan of rap but this stuff is pretty good.

actually, system of a down is my favorite one. It is even more love for all members, not only to their music.

My ride only has a cassette tape deck. Music radio has been nauseating for some time now, and I've just about had my fill of talk radio. Since all my old cassette tapes from when I was a kid are buried deep in storage, I went on eBay to try to find some tape lots of old bands I like. I guess cassette tapes are now becoming scarce and in demand, because finding Metallica tapes (either single tapes or in lots) will set me back at least ten bucks each plus shipping. Gone are the days of finding tapes for fifty cents or a couple bucks, I guess. Might have to go hunting at some local shops.

One of my (LINK REMOVED BY MODERATOR) favorite bands is Foals, a British indie rock band. I like their old albums more than the new ones.
