List your all time favorite movie from each genre or movie type. Just copy the list below and put the favorite movie of that category. If you don't have a favorite for any of the below listed types, you can leave it off, or put "don't have one" or even put "don't have a favorite but liked...". If you have a favorite movie that falls under more than one category, list it twice or however many times. (BTW, if you're wondering what constitutes "Classic B&W", I would say any black and white movie made before 1970.)

Nice lists people. Gotta point some things out:
Oriasten - you're probably the first person in history to ever classify Star Wars as a drama. Congrats.
Listing "any movie by..." or "all movies" does not constitute a favorite! Pick one of those!
NEXTLVL - I'll let slide Gone with the Wind. Even though it's in color, it is quite the classsic. But while Clerks is in B&W... not made before 1970. I didn't mean "Classic" and "B&W" as two separate things requiring two different movies.
CCRob - Same thing with Schindler's List (plus parts of it were in color)

Well I have heard it called Space Opera before, and I needed a drama movie and drew a blank.
And oh sure STEAL my idea if using Citizen Kane, (I checked the spelling, its a K). I didn't have much to choose from, the only movies before '70 I have seen is Wizard of Oz, all the Disney toons, Sound of Music ........... um, My Fair Lady ........... it gets real fuzzy after that so I am betting that's about it.

Heh.
But in all seriousness a Spider-Man musical is in the works.
The woman who directed 'Across the Universe' is directing.
She's pretty good.

Man, I'm liking all these favorites everyone is putting up. Leave it to comiccastle to add favorite porn though.
Yes icarus, The Longest Yard counts as a sports movie. And NEXTLVL, Spider-Man 3 can be considered a musical if that would be your favorite.

It was the only genre you left out, and I've watched a lot more porn than I have foreign language films, and I know I'm not alone.
