Understand there were only 9 slots available so your favorite story might not be on the list. Sorry if it isn't.

Thanks to Loki for letting me post this here.

Civil War seems like the best choice. Now that the public has been introduced to most these characters, an origin story isn't really needed. And the story with the government grasping control seems to be relevent in a post-Bush nation, considering the things the Bush administration got a way with which would normally be frowned upon. Not to mention what a great story it was and what an emotional impact it had.

I think Secret Wars would translate the best, it would have the least amount of history so you could really focus on the current story instead of bringing everyone up to speed. Besides, you get all the bad guys, all the good guys, and power from beyond.

I think you and BD are both right... I'm not confident that Civil War would be done properly, but I know I would have no expectations set for SW, since this was one mini-series that I just couldn't tolerate.

I think they'd all make good animated movies but I also think Civil War would be complicated. I'm torn between Mutant Massacre and Secret Wars. I loved both and SW really deserves to be done right and not like that Spiderman cartoon "Secret Wars" crap. That was just ridiculous!

It sounds like this is happening, Planet Hulk i mean.

Marvel has publicly posted their quarterly earnings report. As is always the case, the report has several Easter Eggs for Comics2Film fans.

Most interesting is the revelation of a 'Planet Hulk' direct-to-video animated feature, targeted for a February 2010 release from Lionsgate (Marvel's home video animation partner).

If you think this would replace the previously announced 'Hulk Smash' animated feature, you'd be mistaken. However, Marvel now lists that movie as 'Hulk Vs.', and it finds its way home next January.

There's nothing unexpected in Marvel's in-house movie lineup, except that 'Thor' is listed as "writer engaged". Last we heard, there was a writer and a director engaged, one Matthew Vaughn. Is this merely an oversight by the author of the report? Or has Vaughn ankled the project?

Other: Planet Hulk.

I'd love to see a planet Hulk feature length animated adventure. Better yet, give use an Anime version of it.

This may seem like an odd choice, but I have a write in vote for House of M. Next to that one I like the Planet Hulk idea, although with Hulk Vs. already out I think they should go with other characters.

Civil War is my favorite, but I don't think an animated movie will do it justice. Unless it's really well done I think Civil War should be saved for an eventual live-action movie.

Not odd at all. I quite enjoyed "House of M," and have enjoyed the follow-up "Civil War: House of M." I hope we get to explore the House of M universe more in the futue.

I do agree that Infinity Gauntlet and Age of Apocalypse should have been in the runnings. I would have voted for both over any of the other choices.
