I'm no expert, but the first CLASSIC that comes to mind is the Omen. Even to this day you don't see parents naming their kids Damien anymore. "I did it all for you Damien!"

(shivers)

The Shining is a classic, that one made Jack Nicholson a superstar. The one name I haven't seen is Salem's Lot, I saw that as a kid & had nightmares for weeks.
