I'm delighted to announce that I've just made my first purchase! I've been waiting until some of the more unusual, older stuff is listed and finally fouind something that buzzed me. Anyways, I bought a 1973 run of Marvel's Amazing Adventures featuring Killraven from comando comics and the whole process was so remarkably easy and fast I'm sure I'll be buying more soon.
Note to non-US buyers - comando comics have very sensible shipping rates!!!
Anyway, details of your first Live Market purchase isn't a bad idea for a thread - so what was the first purchase you all bought?:d/

I just got into Avengers. so my first purchase was New Avngers #1 and 2, and I got a free #7 for being the first buyer on the site. It was very easy, even for a teenager.

Excellent! Just FYI, my shop The Captain's Den specialises in the Avengers .. small stock at the moment, but I'll be putting up lots more lovely stuff in the coming weeks and months

Just received my first purchase. I must say this place is 1000 times better than that evil auction place that will remain nameless. I couldn't be happier.

The first comic book i purchased, was Fallen son chapter 5 "Iron Man" both covers,Fallen son chapter 4 "Spider man"both covers,And Captain America "The death of the dream" Part one.
And since the 5th i've gotten at least 15 more older captain america, and most are for 50 cents where i buy them, and about 10 green lantern's too,and the hulk from 1977 #212 & #214. All together i've spent over $100.00 Dollars.

I just made my first purchase earlier today, I got all 29 issues of the Curse of the Spawn, and I was very pleased at how easy it was and will continue buying from here.

I purchased some old Valiant Harbinger Issues I was missing and Wolverine V2 #2. I've received 3 of the 8 comics I've ordered so far (different vendors at different times) and I'm very staisfied so far!
I'm really looking forward to a time when I'll be able to come to CCL for any regular back-issue I need and know that it will be available!

I just made my first purchase this past week. It's Amazing Spiderman #300! Havent received it yet but looking forward to it. Also ordered Batman vs. Predator #3, Amazing Spiderman #287 and #288. Found them cheaper and in better condition on here than at my LCS. I'm done buying back issues there. Thanks, CCL!

I just made my first purchase as well, easy to do!!!
What was realy nice is that I was able to go through the sellers store and pick up a couple of extra issues that reduced the shipping cost overall.
Simple and easy!!
"
Know, O prince, that between the years when the oceans drank Atlantis and the gleming cities, and the rise of the sons of Aryas, there was an Age undreamed of, when shining kingdoms lay spread across the world like blue mantles beneath the stars.
"Hither came Conan, the Cimmerian, black-haired, sullen-eyed, sword in hand, a thief, a reaver, a slayer, with gigantic melancholies and gigantic mirth, to tread the jeweeled thrones of teh Earth under his sandaled feet."

Just received the comics that I bought back at the beginning of this thread! Took awhile getting here but ultimately worth the wait and sensibly packaged. Now have to see what to buy next...

My first purchase was all filler. Once I found All Star batman #4. I searched the seller and found 2 more issues i was missing from some of my series. I love that everyone has combined shipping, so much better than Ebay. I just wish there was a second way to look at stores, it can take forever to look through someones store. There should be letters to choose from.

Agreed. Either letters or titles/companies, something to help streamline the search. Or maybe an additional filter. Currently there is the option to filter for single issues and lots. Maybe we could add a filter for wishlist, to show the items in a store that are on a buyers wishlist?
