Tell us your favorite ongoing series, Marvel, DC, or other publisher, and why.

Mine is Avengers: The Initiative. It's written brilliantly, Slott introduces us to some characters that aren't seen that much, and he also creates new ones. There's also the question about whether MVP is dead or not. The art is simply AMAZING, especially the colors.

Shop at My Store
there are 2 that I honestly cannot pick between

Captain America - every issue is great and I look forward to the next issue the minute I am done reading the current one.

Punisher (Max) - this is written the way punisher should be and I have never been let down on any story arc.

Just one pick? That's hard right now. I'm really up for Green Lantern and GL Corps with the whole Sinestro War, as well as DMZ (which is truly a brilliant comic), and the Spirit. If people aren't reading Darwyn Cooke's take on the Spirit they should!

The Spirit is a really good book. The art is perfect for the character as well. But I think my favorite is New X-Men. I loved all the recent stories and I really like the art on the current run.

Walking Dead. The cliff hangers always leave me wanting the next issue to come as quickly as possible.

Green Lantern, hands down the best book on the shelves right now. You've got the best writer working in the business today on the book, along with an awesome artist, and the Sinestro Corps War Saga is going on. Great stuff happening. And I'm willing to bet my collection that this has direct effects on the upcoming Final Crisis.

agreed The Walking Dead and Grimm Fairy Tales are the only two titles that make me CRAVE my next issue. Everything else is OK meaning I can miss an issue and it won't really bother me. The annihilation conquest series has not been bad either :), probably the biggest sleeper of the year.

X men First Class - one of the only comics around these days which is actually humourous and fun, but still dishes out some good thrills! with great artwork, and simple 'one issue' storylines, this is one of my favourite comic because it is a highly enjoyable read.

Thor - because the storylines are fantastic! Plus its Thor, who is naturally awsome :) ! The artwork is fanastic and each issue always leaves you waiting for the next issue

Immortal Iron Fist & Runaways
With the exception of a few, comics aren't what they use to be. That's why I stick to the 60's - 80's. GO MARVEL.
