A stone carver in a Middle Ages European village is privy to the serial murders taking place. When the constable comes calling with the townspeople in tow to visit the recluse, they are shocked and suspicious of the gargoyle sculpture, aptly called the Golden Angel, that the carver keeps locked tight in the back of his shop. 7 pages.

A mask maker, once famous and now impoverished, struggles with a way to revive his career. In an old textbook, he reads of the legend of Drothor, a wizard so ugly that he put a curse on all who espied his visage. The mask maker, falling under a spell, fashions a perfect mask of Drothor and finds that Drothor's old curse still retains its potency. 5 pages.

The monster-maker Manaak finishes his masterpiece and brings it to life. Immune to disease, indestructible, and imbued with all of mankind's knowledge, the monster asks its first question: Why do I need a master? 2 pages.
"I Found the Abominable Snowman!"

At a bar in Calcutta, Big Carl overhears a man brag about owning a photo of the elusive Abominable Snowman. Seeing an opportunity to make money, he robs the man of the photo. Everywhere he goes, he is warned that the photo is cursed, but he is now intent on capturing the Snowman, tracking it to the Himalayas. Dogged in his pursuit, he becomes wilder, shaggier, ever unaware that he has become his own quarry. He drops the photo and it blows away in the wind, looking for the next victim. 6 pages.
