"In the Shadow of... Sauron!"
The Sentinels are gone and the X-Men return home, after Jean and Scott drop off Alex at Dr. Lykos'. Dr. Lykos remembers his past and his encounter with a Pterodon in his youth and how he became a mutant, Sauron. Angel goes out to investigate a renegade mutant when he runs into Sauron.
