i was online and saw some snippets about mar jeweler variants and i knew i had just bought one with the insert in it, so i skimmed through my collection and found it! Its power man and iron fist 78(3rd sabertooth) does anyone know if this makes it worth more? i looked on mycomicshop.com but they didnt have that issue listed.

Some people put a premium on them but it's one of those tricky situations. The inserts can be swapped from one comic to another, say from a G/VG book to a VF/NM.

Now the really rare one was the lingerie insert.I can't remember what book it was in and I've only seen twoTongue

All I know is there an ultra-hard-to-find "variant" of ASM #129 with the Mark Jewelers thingy.

These inserts were distributed to comics sent to Army Bases overseas. So, theoretically, nearly all Marvel books have variants with these inserts. I sort of collect these, with my oldest being a few .15 and .20 Marvel books. And yes, I have a few of the lingerie insert issues Drooling .

I got one in a Master of Kung fu collection. I was shocked to see it because I have other copies of the same MOKF issue without it. I thought someone had ripped it out of the other issues.

Does this make it more valuable? Unfortunately It's only in VG/F condition.

I've seen Lonestar list the insert issues seperatly at a higher price.

I have a separate shelf in my store as well for these. They really don't sell for that much more on ebay, but one day--who knows? The Marvel 30 & 35 cent variants from the 70s were overlooked for decades. Now they go for a premium...
