Fred Flintstone and Homer Simpson.

Two iconic paternal figures in the annals of animation. Two monumental series in the history of television.

Each of them has a best bud and I was wondering what would occur if Barney Rubble took on Barney Gumble in a knock down, drag out brawl.

They're both kind of dim witted and are known to hang out in rough places - Gumble at Moe's Tavern and Rubble with the Loyal Order of Water Buffalo. Rubble has his bowling and Barney is an associate of the Pin Pals.

Barney Gumble was once known as "The Plow King" But Barney Rubble has a son named Bamm-Bamm. Gumble is the lead tenor in the barbershop band the Be Sharps and Rubble bangs a mean drum.

So what happens when these two angry drunks start throwing down?

Is it the Bedrock City Bruiser?

or the Springfield Smashed Smasher?
